Privacy and data use
Last updated July 2, 2026
This page explains how Agentsy uses data from Agentsy Report Scan and Audit workflows. Agentsy is a collaboration between Mixed Bean Studio Inc. and Done By Deux Inc., located in British Columbia, Canada. Where a signed customer agreement adds more specific terms for an engagement, that agreement governs.
What we collect
To run a Scan or Audit we collect the domain you submit and the public data we can read about your business, the responses AI engines give when we ask about your category, the sources those engines cite, and the results of technical and crawl checks against pages you control. We also collect the email address you provide for report delivery, and, for a paid Audit, the lead and intake details you share (such as company name, priorities, notes, and any source files you upload).
Email and how we use it
We use the email you give us to deliver your Scan report by a private link, to follow up about a requested Audit, and to send Audit and Studio updates you have asked for. Report links are private; we set browser referrer controls so that report links you open are not leaked to third parties through your browser. We do not sell your email address.
What we retain
Agentsy may retain Scan, Audit, provider-response, citation, crawl, technical-check, uploaded source, report, and derived benchmark data to operate the product, verify results, improve our methodology, develop new features, and prepare benchmark reporting.
Benchmark material
Published benchmark material is separated from raw evidence and is aggregated and de-identified unless you explicitly approve being named or featured. We will not publish your company name, report, raw provider responses, uploaded source files, or identifiable customer-specific rows without permission. Aggregated benchmark outputs may still refer to cited third-party domains, competitors, or public sources that appeared in AI responses.
Scan and Audit consent
When you run a free Scan, you agree that Agentsy may use the Scan and its underlying evidence to generate your report, improve our methodology, develop the product, and create aggregated benchmark insights. When you upload paid Audit materials, you authorize Agentsy to use those files for Audit analysis, report preparation, methodology improvement, product development, and internal quality review.
Named use and approval
We default to not naming you. We will not identify your business in public benchmark outputs, reports, case studies, or other public materials unless you explicitly approve it, and that approval defines the scope of any named use. You can decline or withdraw approval for future materials at any time by contacting us.
Data retention
We retain Scan, Audit, and derived data to operate and support the product and, on a longer horizon, to build de-identified aggregate benchmarks that inform our methodology and reporting. Aggregate benchmark material is separated from raw evidence and does not identify your business unless you have approved named use. You can ask us to delete the identifiable data tied to your Scan or Audit by contacting us; some de-identified aggregate data may remain because it no longer identifies you.
Your rights
You can ask us what identifiable data we hold about your Scan or Audit, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by contacting us at the address below. We handle these requests as required by Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA and the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act. The Services run on infrastructure and AI providers located primarily in the United States, so the data described on this page is processed and stored outside Canada.
Sharing and invites
Scan and Audit reports can be shared through private links or invites you choose to create. Anyone with a share link or invite you send can view the report it points to, so share them only with people you intend to give access. We do not otherwise make your report public.
Cookies
We use only cookies that are strictly necessary to run the Services, such as Cloudflare's bot-protection check and the session that keeps you signed in to your report. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Third-party processors
We rely on a small set of third-party services to run the product, and your data may be processed by them for that purpose:
- Cloudflare hosts and runs the application and stores its data.
- AI engine providers (such as OpenAI / ChatGPT, Anthropic / Claude, Google / Gemini, and Perplexity) receive prompts about your business so we can capture how they answer. We access these engines through their APIs, and this traffic is not used to train their models under the API terms we rely on.
- Resend delivers our email, including report links and Audit follow-ups.
- Stripe processes Audit payments; card details go to Stripe, not to us.
- DataForSEO supplies search and keyword data we use to enrich the analysis.
