How much does an AI visibility Audit cost?

What determines the price of an AI visibility Audit, which deliverables change the scope, and how to compare quotes.

By Marius C. Paun· Published

AI visibility Audit pricing depends on the number of markets, prompts, answer surfaces, pages, competitors, and hours of human review included in the work.

The fastest way to compare prices is to ignore the report length and inspect the measurement design. Ask what gets tested, which evidence stays visible, who reviews the findings, and whether the recommendations name specific pages and sources.

The main cost drivers

Prompt coverage

Seven broad prompts can expose the first problem. A serious commercial Audit normally needs more coverage across branded, category, comparison, evaluation, and problem-aware questions.

More prompts create more provider calls and more responses to inspect. They also improve the chance that the Audit reflects the real buying journey rather than one convenient sample.

Answer surfaces

ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI surfaces, Copilot, Claude, and other answer systems do not return identical results. Testing more surfaces increases collection and review work.

The provider should name the surfaces directly. “Major AI engines” is too vague for a measurement deliverable.

Markets and locations

A company serving one market has a smaller question set than a company with multiple locations, languages, services, or customer segments. Each material variation can require its own prompts and source review.

Source and competitor analysis

Recording mentions is relatively easy. Explaining why competitors appear and which external sources influence the answers takes deeper research.

This part often creates the most useful recommendations because the answer may depend on a directory, review platform, association, publication, or profile outside the company’s control.

Human review

Automation can collect answers, crawl pages, and flag technical signals. A person still needs to reconcile conflicts, discard weak recommendations, and decide what the team should do first.

Ask who performs that review. A senior review of every finding is a different deliverable from an automatically generated PDF with a short account-manager call.

Deliverables and follow-up

Pricing changes when the engagement includes page-level briefs, structured-data examples, a walkthrough, implementation support, stakeholder presentations, or a later comparison scan.

Confirm whether the provider includes implementation. Many Audits diagnose and prioritize the work; design, development, content production, and outreach are separate services.

How to compare two quotes

Put the offers side by side and answer these questions:

  1. How many prompts and answer surfaces are measured?
  2. How were the prompts selected?
  3. Are the original answers and citations preserved?
  4. Does the work include technical, content, and authority analysis?
  5. Are competitors and third-party source pools examined?
  6. Who reviews the evidence?
  7. Does every priority point to a specific page, source, or system?
  8. Is there a walkthrough or comparison re-scan?
  9. Which work is excluded?

A cheaper report can be enough when the business needs a quick baseline. It becomes expensive when the team still has to investigate every recommendation before acting.

Agentsy Report pricing

The Agentsy Report Audit is currently a one-time $999 USD. It includes 24 prompts across seven measured AI surfaces, technical and source analysis, a prioritized page-by-page plan, personal review by Joey Kudish and Marius C. Paun, a walkthrough call, and one comparison re-scan after 30 days.

Implementation is separate. If the team wants Agentsy to help ship the recommended design, content, schema, or engineering work, that is scoped as consulting through Agentsy.

The free Scan is the sensible first step when you have not measured the business yet. It shows whether deeper investigation is likely to be useful before you spend anything.
